The
Dream Fairie
On long days
when all seems lost,
she waits
ever so patiently
and when night falls
she begins her dance,
the dance of dreams.
| As somber eyes begin to flutter, her wings spread wide and with elegant grace she slowly rises from her cloud of waiting. |

In the moonlight
bright on the bed,
she twists and turns
her wings shimmering
with extraordinary colors,
then slowly,
very slowly.
She hovers overhead,
peers at the sleeping,
dreams of a dream,
and softly she blows
the dust of dreams
on the face
of the sleeping.
At last she's delivered
the dream,
the dream of new beginnings,
hopeful futures,
and a life of bliss,
full of love
and happiness.
Once again
she takes her
place on the cloud
of waiting
for only she knows
what lies in
the days ahead.
